Verify Now is the first rapid and accurate system to measure individual response to P2Y12 inhibitors and Aspirin. It is a simple yet precise tool to support treatment decisions, allowing experts to assess platelet reactivity as a routine component of care for millions of patients receiving antiplatelet agents.
Advantages:
- Testing can be completed within 2-5 minutes
- Performing calibration before each test allows for the most accurate results
- No need for regular service maintenance
- Possibility of testing ASPIRIN and P2Y12
- Ability to be placed in many departments due to its small size, such as: cardiology, operating room, anesthesiology, etc.

The VerifyNow system offers a simple, rapid, and proven solution for assessing platelet reactivity to antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin and clopidogrel. The tests can measure the effect of platelet therapy before discharge and ensure a patient’s response to the drugs. In addition, they can identify bleeding risk due to antiplatelet therapy and detect lack of therapeutic response. This can help shorten the interruption of antiplatelet therapy, reduce routine platelet transfusions, reduce the length of stay before surgery, and reduce rehospitalizations within 30 days.
The VerifyNow Aspirin Test measures the reactivity of a patient’s platelets to aspirin, while the VerifyNow PRUTest* determines the degree of P2Y12 receptor blockade. These tests allow patients to determine their response to antiplatelet medications. The VerifyNow Test is designed to measure the effect of therapy, provide drug response, and stratify the risk of treatment-related bleeding or thrombosis.
The system utilizes light transmission aggregometry (LTA), the gold standard for the diagnosis of platelet aggregation. The cassette-based technology requires minimal handling, eliminating potential operator-related measurement inaccuracies.
Easy operation, no pipetting, no sample preparation – reduces the risk of pre-analytical errors. A fully closed, single-use testing system, from sample to result, makes VerifyNow the ideal system for on-site and in-lab testing.
