Chemiluminescent technology
In chemiluminescent assays, a tracer binds specifically to the assay target, emitting light when an oxidant and catalyst are added.
The light detector in the ACL AcuStar is highly sensitive and detects extremely low levels of light, which significantly increases linearity (or operating range) compared to other technologies.
